The Italian Benevolent Society is the oldest independent Italian Club in the United States. Established in 1881 as charitable institution to aid the Families of the Italian Miners that worked the mines in the Amador County gold mining community. Our club has been in continuous operation for the past 142 years.

The club hosts an Annual picnic and parade the first Sunday’s weekend in June. We have an 8500 square foot recreation hall and 20 acre grounds. Our facility is available for rent and catered events and we offer booth rental space at our Picnic Grounds in June.

SPACIOUS FACILITIES AVAILABLE FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT

 

The Italian Benevolent Society offer our grounds and hall for rental. We offer several packages to fill your needs. Our 8600 square foot hall with full commercial kitchen can serve up to 400 guests for weddings, party events and commercial gatherings. Below are two local caterers that are familiar with our kitchen.

  

Our grounds have room for outdoor events from weddings to Pets on the Park.  You can book the grounds for BBQ's or informational type shows. The grounds feature 3 full Bocce courts and our beer barn is large enough for dance parties including a large band stand. Prices start as low as $800.
